Avertum Tech-Air® Airbag or Tech5 airbag when purchased one size larger than your usual fit. Ensure the garment can accommodate airbag expansion by following this fit rule: measure your chest circumference and divide by two; measure the garment flat at chest line; if the difference is 12 cm or more, the garment can safely fit over the airbag. For proper protection, the garment must be worn in the correct base size so shoulder and elbow protectors remain positioned correctly. Remove layers that restrict expansion—such as thermal or waterproof liners—and remove any separate back protector when using the airbag, as one is already integrated. Adjust body straps to the widest setting for unrestricted deployment.
