Description

Designed for the BMW R1300 platform, the MachineartMoto X-Head 1300 Cylinder Head Guards provide wide-area protection for vulnerable cylinder head surfaces. Their thick, two-layer molded polymer construction is engineered to absorb impact forces while resisting breakage.

A thick thermoplastic rubber liner sits between the outer shell and the cylinder head, helping dissipate impact energy and prevent hard contact. The guards cover approximately 80% of the cylinder head face, including the lower, front and middle areas that can contact the ground during a stationary drop.

For riders exploring rocky and uneven terrain, the X-Head 1300 guards can complement compatible engine crash bars by covering vulnerable spaces between the bars. They are designed to work with BMW crash bars, as well as compatible Touratech, Wunderlich and SW-Motech engine bars.
